I had a cat that was very people bonded and she loved full body contact. She slept with me most nights, under the covers with me. I miss that girl.
Yes, sometimes I sneak up on Yukon and pick him up so I can hug him. He's learned I always put him down right away and based on the purrs, he's starting to enjoy it. Besides, sometimes cats need to be picked up and handled, so it's better to get him used to it!
Purring is the ultimate cat message to the world....better than people whistling while they work
Chandler was a cuddle master. He would climb between my side and my arm and sleep there almost every night.
My ex's cat was a rude asshole and wouldn't let you pet him, touch him, really even see him. I always want to implement the "cuddle bag" (a bag that comes around a sleeping bag that has a drawstring) that the cat could be placed in with his head sticking out so he could be easily held and snuggled without being able to run away.
I'm usually a cat whisperer and can get even the most stubborn or ornery cats to let me pet them and hold them, but not ol' Charlie.
Please don't even insinuate that my animals don't like my cuddles.
He is not funny ....2 photos are NOT evidence of forced cuddling while the bottom photo suggests a joyful cat

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
