Which #Hashtags?

@FrayedBear In one of the views for this post, the system auto selected Forgive, Cats, and Love as hash tags for this post. I might have chosen cats, but I've actually never used hash tags before, and I likely wouldn't have intentionally started with Forgive and Love

@synergy You cancelled them. Follow the link I make above and read my post some time back which hopefully explains the benefit of using them - similar to creating a labelling system on your linen closet shelving.

@FrayedBear Interesting, they still show up for me in group view, they just don't appear on individual post pages. I certainly didn't find a place to cancel them.

I understand the appeal, I'm just not sure I like the system choosing my tags for me. I might have chosen #toomanystairs or #unhappycats, myself. I will check out your link, though

@synergy you simply press the down arrow key next to the hashtag.

@FrayedBear I swear I'm not as technically incompetent as I appear right now! But... How would I get to the page that has those arrows? The only place I can even see the hashtags is on the main group page with the list of recent posts - they don't show up at all on the post page, and I don't see anything under options. This is on the android app, for what it's worth. I'll attach a screenshot so you can see what I'm seeing:

@synergy Go to my post on #Hashtags there at the bottom you will find in bright yellow the hashtags that have been created. I've just made one especially for you called Hashtagz with a 'z'. Next to it is a little tiny arrow in a brown box. If you press it, please do, you will see the #Hashtagz magically ffffade away. ? Enjoy.

@synergy After all my effort you didn't downgrade and disappear the #Hashtagz!

@FrayedBear Haha, I'm sorry! I'm still a little confused as to why I don't see that on my post, but perhaps system selected tags just don't show up. I do now know how to work then when I choose them, though - many thanks!
