Your photo brought back memories of my Shamu who lived from 1991 to 2009. He was born in Denver in my home and moved to upstate New York with me in 2001. He was a supreme hunter of mice. He wore the same small white mittens as your tuxedo cat.
On the day of our 2001 move to NY he got scared and ran away. The movers couldn't wait any longer so we left with all the big trucks.
We moved into the farm in NY but two weeks later I drove 1800 miles back to Denver to try and find him.
I spent four days looking for him and finally he came to me, dirty and skinny.
He and I drove back 1800 miles to the farm in NY and all lived happily ever after.
Here's a photo of Shamu on our farm's lawn.
Wow, what a great story!!
Pretty little loaves.
Thank you! Yes they are.
Such pretty babies!
Thank you! They are certainly not babies lol. Whiskers, the black one, is 16 and Nala is 9?
@gmash They will always be babies to me.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
