#cats
I had to put down my 17 year old kitty on Christmas Eve. Now, the house is so quiet and empty. I find myself crying over the oddest things.
You are grieving your fur child's passing. It is normal, it is healthy. It will pass. You will remember him or her forever. You made a hard decision. be gentle with yourself.
I know full well the heartbreak of losing a beloved animal. The best way to honor such a creature is to adopt another. Somewhere, there's another cat or four who desperately need you.
So sorry to hear that! Sending purrs from Mattie.
They truly are part of the family...sorry for your loss

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
