I had to wrap TC with a bath towel to get Medicine in him
My first cat refused medicines. She would shut her mouth. Keep it locked. If you managed to sneak past that, she refused to swallow. We could not even get liquids down.
When next we went to the vet, we explained our dilemma. The vet scoffed. “Let me do it,” he said. About 20 minutes later, he cancelled out and said, “I gave her a shot.”
She was strong willed. And strong for her size. The vet assistant would use inch thick rubber gloves to handle her... the kind they used with big cats at the zoo. Yet, she was gentle and sweet with her family.
I've been lucky, I've managed to give my cats medicines without anyone getting hurt or requiring therapy or additional treatments.

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
