Ian Lustick is a professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania, and formerly championed a two-state solution in Israel/Palestine. Indeed they do have a strangle hold on Congress, what the main issues for me is Evangelicals buying power in Kenneset through donations to the Likud Party.
