Kyle Rittenhouse had no business being there to begin with. If he gets off scotch free this will set a dangerous precedent in terms of what people can do during a protest and how law enforcement can yield to vigilante violence. It could erode democracy and freedom of speech as we know it.

As he was saying this the defense attorney was writing away on he pad. Can't wait to hear how he will spin that.

I agree that he had no business being there. This 17 year old baby was there with an AR15., IMO, he thought of himself as a vigilante. protecting property. Are you serious, says John Mc Enroe??? The judge is a trumpie, the jury has been fixed. A hung trial may be best - try him again, hopefully with a new judge.

I see the point here, but if a mistrial is declared in the right way this may never come up again as a murder trial and Kyle would go free.
