One Judge Stopped A Complete US Ban On Abortion Medication Pending Appeal
In a 2-1 Federal Appeal, Judges ruled Mifeprixone shall remain legal, but only for those under 10 weeks pregnant, by a doctor's prescription only, and not by mail.
In essence, this seemingly win for pro-choice advocates, just paved the way for SCOTUS to ban medical abortions for the entire country. Medical abortions account for 90% of all abortions in America.
And this will be another bog step in seeing SCROTUS and extremist judges for what they are and vote against them. In our, so called, modern age it is horrifying that still one person can wreck so much harm on society and even the planet which includes other species besides our own.
@SeaGreenEyez Unfortunately, we all know what is said about 'power' and corruption.
The 5th circuit Court is very conservative, and this ruling shows it. They're relying the 1870(?) Comstock law forbidding interstate mailing of medications used for abortions.
This ruling blocks the plaintive claim that FDA approval is incomplete, and misrepresents the "Harm" inflicted on the women using it..
