Finding myself biting my tongue to keep the peace and keep my job. The trumpeters seem to be coming.out of the woodwork the closer we get to election day though most other workers appear to be lying low. Even those I used to think were levelheaded and intelligent are revealing themselves particularly those who believe in magic. I NEED A BREAK!!!!

I have to keep reminding myself that it is really "only" 30-35% who seem to worship him and excuse every horrid thing he says ...though that is still an appalling number. The rest of the plurality who voted him into office were duped by either their racist or xenophobic tendencies, their disgust with all of government (which he was able to exploit) and/or their mistrust of Hillary Clinton.
I remain stunned by that last one, as I supported her, but the hatred for the Clintons has been actively and intensely cultivated by Republican smear offensives for over 30 years. And Hillary, unfortunately, seemed peculiarly vulnerable to mistrust by, of all people, White women, who have been quick to believe every negative thing ever said about her. I totally lost count of the number of people I personally heard say something equivalent to "I don't necessarily trust Trump, but Hillary is even worse!"
