I remain disgusted by it all. I have to keep reminding myself that it is really "only" 30-35% who seem to worship him and excuse every horrid thing he says ...though that is still an appalling number. The rest of the plurality who voted him into office were duped by either their racist or xenophobic tendencies, their disgust with all of government (which he was able to exploit) and/or their mistrust of Hillary Clinton.
I remain stunned by that last one, as I supported her, but the hatred for the Clintons has been actively and intensely cultivated by Republican smear offensives for over 30 years. And Hillary, unfortunately, seemed peculiarly vulnerable to mistrust by, of all people, White women, who have been quick to believe every negative thing ever said about her. I totally lost count of the number of people I personally heard say something equivalent to "I don't necessarily trust Trump, but Hillary is even worse!"

I’m feeling the same. But, thankfully we are still able to have civil conversations about it. Nobody hates anyone for their opinion.......yet. ?

At least at my work the idiots are on 3rd shift. My shift, 2nd, is a lot better. With you in this!

I feel the same when I find myself in a group of people.. in a recent poetry reading meeting.. I was even chastized for one of my political poem. Fuck them all!
