Trump Threatens to Sue Fox News and The Lincoln Project Over TV Ad

Former President Donald Trump says he will sue both “Fox News” and “The Lincoln Project” over an ad The Lincoln Project ran on Fox News, which described Trump’s leadership PAC “Save America” as basically nothing but a Donald Trump slush fund, that’s collected hundreds of millions of dollars and allows Trump to actually use the donation money any way he chooses.

Well, with the quality of the lawyers Trump is able to get to represent him these days, don’t expect to see Fox News or The Lincoln Project shaking in their shoes any time soon. I mean, how much mileage can you actually get out of a lawyer you got off an ad on a bus stop bench? Seems it’s getting more and more difficult these days for Mr. Trump, aka “The Boy Named Sue,” to find lawyers willing to work for free. Hell, Trump’s such a grifter, I’m a little surprised that with the death of Queen Elizabeth, Trump hasn't tried to claim he is now the rightful King of England.

Of course, the truth is that Trump isn't going to sue anyone. Not when he knows the first question they’d ask him would be “So, where did you spend all that money people donated to fight election fraud?” And, Trump would say something like “Well, I spent a lot of it getting all my toilets gold-plated. Anyone who knows anything about elections, knows that gold-plating toilets is an important first step in the fight against election fraud.”

Now, I’m no legal expert myself, but if I were, I’d say why stop at suing just Fox News and The Lincoln Project? Hell, I’d advise Trump to also sue every single person in the country who didn't vote for him. Oh, sure - that’s gonna be one helluva lot of people, and he’d need to hire a ton of lawyers, but what’s the difference? It isn’t like he ever pays his lawyers anyway. Besides, it’s time to make these ingrate voters pay for their damn disloyalty.

Frankly, if I had a nickel for every time Trump threatened to sue someone, I'd buy Fox News and turn it into a channel that plays nothing but “cat videos” all day long. Looks like all that “So much winning” Trump promised, has instead turned into “So much whining.” Fact is, Trump’s presidency has been a lot like watching a TV game show, but rather than all those who played Trump’s game winning a prize, everyone instead gets a subpoena.
