I just had a look at my calendar, and it seems I got home and started my quarantine 6 weeks ago, so my veg garden is from 5 to only 3 weeks old. Despite being not really the season as it will soon get too hot, I am already eating small amounts of: lettuce, arugula, basil, cilantro, sweet potato leaves, parsley, pea-shoots along with fruit I had already, hibiscus flowers and leaves, and wild stuff. My beans (bush and climbing) are about to flower, same for okra, and chard and radishes are up. No sign of sweet peppers or chillis or eggplants, much of the old seed from fridge was dead, and tomato plants are only 8" high but it has already been worth the effort!
You will have to break out the shade cloth and keep those fresh veggies producing. Food security is important and fresh veggies make for a strong immune system.
