What a great way to repurpose an old school bus. Turn it into a mobile garden and it would be even better as an aquaponic garden.

Brilliant! Do you know where it is?

You could turn it into a fish tank? It would be easier.

I don't understand why they took the roof off to replace it with plastic sheet. It would have been much simpler to cut out rectangles between the struts to let the sun & rain in. Here it is more likely that porous shade cloth would be used depending on season & crop.

I also wonder at the continuing integrity after the roof is removed. It looks like a monocoque construction body. The weight of the wet soil may do strange things in time however it could be good for a hundred years if the body & frame is zincalume or aluminium. If iron watch out!

Australians don't shovel much snow in the winter do they? 😉

@Surfpirate Are you saying the roof was used to make snow shovels?
If it's situate in a snowy area then having the roof and glass would better function for winter greenhouse use.

@FrayedBear Yes, exactly that but they were northern snow shovels so they wouldn't work in OZ, they would be upside down.
