Lovely! Is that first flower possibly Monardella villosa? I've just begun growing it myself and it is in bloom for me now. But the foliage on yours looks better so perhaps the flowers are merely similar.

It is indeed - bee balm - I have no idea which variety because it sort of "volunteered" to grow where it is right now. My gardens have a mind of their own. And a little "scatterbrained".....much like the person who tends them. 😉 😉 🙂

@Lavergne Same here. One day I know a plant's name the next day poof.

I wish I could grow Monarda, it just does not seem to like my soil.

Its funny that some things that are supposed to do well right here - don't.....and vice versa. I have the pink spirea growing everywhere - it does fantastic. But I planted two pots of the white spirea (bridal veil) and they have never bloomed. ??????? whut de hell?

@Lavergne Do you know Bridal Veil does fine for me.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
