Yesterday I was out cleaning up garden beds wearing shorts. And, I hung up this freshly cleaned and partically filled with cedar shavings, wren's house. Today, I managed to get in my hour hike though the 'burb before the ice storm hit. I took this pic just as someone hopped through that entrance. Has to be a wren. The entrance is too small for a finch. I didn't wait in the freezing rain to confirm. Maybe tomorrow.
On behalf of naturalists/environmentalists...I thank you for putting up any kind of bird shelter!
Nice story. Chickadee?
Not sure yet. Nobody has come back out.
🦜 ???
The little bird was very appreciative of the new home I’m sure.
The icicles are a nice touch, almost like a Swiss chalet

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
