Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I was lucky to see the flower bloom at the Tucson Botannical Garden in April of 2018. It was publicized that it would bloom soon. I could not get away immediately, but made a hotel reservation. I arrived the night before it got to full bloom and watched it bloom full the next day. I must say, it was a moment to remember!

The good thing about the Tucson Botannical Gardens is that you can also go see the butterfly pavilion.

They are incredibly interesting flowers, but I'm not certain I ever want to see more than a picture of one.

I have read about those. I wouldn't want to be close enough to smell it. I had enough issues when Skunk Cabbage was blooming in Washington state.

You have to be really close for it to be really offensive. I guarantee they will not let you get too close. It is a spectacular bloom!
