Easy to say. Just wait until you get an invasive. I will be spending a lot of time digging in this 'wonderful' soil with gloves, mask, hat and protective eyewear to get rid of leafy Spurge. [invasivespeciesinfo.gov]

"I love the smell of Napalm in the Morning" was a movie. Because of that smell the VA, 50 years later, gave me a 90% disability for that odor.

Unfortunately my dog loves getting his paws in the dirt as well. Big holes result.

I also love the smell of a freshly watered greenhouse.

I love the smell of alfalfa and horse manure but it must be alfalfa, prairie hay won't work.

That's why I enjoy burying things in the backyard.,

Do we want to know what you bury?

@tinkercreek No.

No wonder I love getting my hands in the dirt!! I always feel better and sleep better after a day in the garden. 😉

Yeah, I've had a few that said after I buried them they slept better.

Because it's a gift?

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
