Today the Portland area began with rain, melting remnants of the Sunday snow storm. The afternoon was clear and sunny, followed by a hailstorm, snow flurries, then evening clearing. The morning will be about 32', maybe snow, with a day of rain and thunderstorms. Friday will be sunny, then another week of warmer rain. My gardens will wait!
Well I'm several hundred miles farther south, but you'll end up with a lot more sunshine with your longer summer days.
And I thought it was unusual here. Monday I mowed and edged the lawn. It was sunny and in the mid-50's. Then Tuesday it dipped into the high 30's, and there was light sleet. It's been colder than usual ever since.
I need to come visit you!!! I have been saying that to every plant friend I have and the Dallas group too.
How have you been?
Just let me know when, I've got some new plants and I'll start a passion vine for you.
It’s been cold and rainy for a couple of days here, down in the high 30’s at night and we got up to 51 today. We love that we are getting rain! Spring has been gorgeous this year because we had that big rain in December and January. The trees look so much better.
It was 90 degrees in Omaha yesterday, and then we had storms blow through. Today almost got up to 50 and it is supposed to be below freezing tonight. Spring isn't here yet, but trying.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
