When I planted my first garden in Yuma, I had a terrible aphid problem. So much so, that I bought ladybugs on Amazon. They DID solve the problem, and quite frankly it is a fairly inexpensive solution. But maybe this would have been just as good. BTW, I started using agricultural cloth over hoops the second year, and the aphids never appeared, so I think they do not like enclosed spaces.
I really liked your tip on using aloe to speed up sprouting, it really works well.
Thanks. I post these things when I see them. I usually haven’t tried them, so it’s good to hear when others do so successfully.
@MsKathleen I have my second set of seeds sprouting right now. They put out roots in less than a day for some seeds.
