A little squash plant goes a loooong way. I used to make zucchini bread mini muffins and freeze them in bags of about 15-20 and in the off season pull a bag and pop a few here and there. Better than cookies.
I do that too My freezer will be full in another month!
No squash around here for months.
You're welcome to pop 'round for tea and zucchini muffins
That's alotta squash!! I hope you don't have to eat squash 3 meals a day until other veggies are ready That's the direction my garden is heading and I'm already looking for people to take some of it.
LOL! I love squash....but, yes, I've started giving some away....there's so much!!!!
@SkotlandSkye Pretty soon people are going to start pulling down their shades and hiding in the basement when they see you coming ? When I reached that point I joined the local farmers market to deal with my surplus. And my neighbors thanked me, hahaha?
@farmboy2017 I give all the excess to the local food banks -- -there's two of them that I take fresh veggies to.
@SkotlandSkye Me too. And I do an Empty Bowls event periodically and raise some $$ for the food bank.
