Hello there my fellow green thumbed gardeners! I have been busy, which is I have been mia for a bit. But I wanted to show you my new temporary garden. Short backstory, I had to leave the place we were renting in a hurry one night and had to leave my garden behind. I worked things out with my old roommate enough that I could come back and get it. It took 2 trips and I still have one more to do, but I got my babies back! And since most of them are native plants, they survived the few weeks that nobody was caring for them. I managed to dig the grass out of one raised her and am now working on the other one. It is taking a while because I can only dig out about a foot or two before my neck gets bad, but I'm almost done!

Posted by KateOahuThis morning I went to a class for making a terrarium with native plants at the Waikiki Community Center, which is about three blocks from where I live.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
