Thar is wheely nice and a wheely practical and ascetic use of an antique wheel.
That is a great idea. I'll bet it's a lot easier to take car of like that
@Sheannutt since it doesn't have to function as a wheel, it would pretty easy to make a substitute. That was what I was thinking of doing, anyway
My wife wants me to build her a custom shelving unit that is tiered for her herb garden in the solarium. I'm not supposed to touch the herbs because I already have the main gardening to myself. I do my best not to interfere. That looks very cool though and I do have a wagon wheel hoop that I dug up while excavating the foundation of our new house.
@Sheannutt Up to her, she has something in her mind now so it's just a matter of time before I get a bunch of Pinterest pics in my inbox and instructions to build something like that but not quite. Fortunately I will know what she means, well usually and when I don't I can usually modify the design or she may get used to it as built.

Posted by FernappleI think that the veg plot is looking good now, but sadly it will probably never look like one of my near neighbour's.

Posted by skadoThis year’s cantaloupe, squash, peas, and tomatoes. Not much rain lately. That’s supposed to make the cantaloupe sweeter. We’ll see.
