#Tomato Blight?# One of the plants produces small tomatoes with a scab underneath. I cut them up to look for evidencve of insect problems but could not find any. I ate one of the good ones. These ae the Amish Paste tomatoes, a pity! They are quite acidic, with thin skin and not too many seeds. I hope this is only the one plant.
Harvested two # yellow squash#. All the #herbs# are doing very well. Thinking of tying up some # bouquet garni#.
i have all the herbs for that.

If it's on the bloom end it's probably blossom end rot as others have said. We get that a lot because of the high humidity. And rust and almost anything else you can think of.

Sounds like blossom end rot which is a calcium deficiency and can be treated with crushed limestone slurry.

Excellent. I probably brought this on myself, because I did not use enough calcium when i prepared the straw bales where the plants are growing. I am off to pepare the slurry and treat the plants. Feeling hopeful! Thank you so much.

@Spinliesel Happy to help, it happened to me a couple years ago when I planted too aggressively in the same plot I had planted tomatoes the previous year, the calcium had become depleted.
