My pond, my water lilies get big white flowers and I was waiting for them to bloom. When I went out there were just some shreds of petals and there were some bite marks on the leaves that look like deer. It's only eight or nine feet around but still the biggest body of water near my house so I get lots of traffic.

It's never happened before and the plant is at least 10 years old

Deer bring the ticks carrying lyme disease. Be careful. It is at epidemic proportions.

Ticks are very rare here, maybe too damp or not enough tall grass. I haven't seen one in my county for the whole thirty years I've been here. Happy... I've always hated them, I got very sick once in Colorado and always suspected it was tick fever.
