Bracing for another 4 to 8 inches of snow here. While I will enjoy the temporary magical transformation, I hope it isn't harmful to the emergent flora.

Late, but not unheard of. And now it is melting fast.
The high was supposed to be 60° by noon and then temps were supposed to fall. It didn't get above 48° today before the temps started to fall. Our late morning walk with grandchildren was breezy and just too cold. I had hoped to shop for the plants for the garden, but not this week.
Yeah, it will be "warming up" this week but still rain on most days.

And you aren't that far from me. Cool here today. High of only 63.
Yesterday it was in the 60s. Today in the 30s. Still not convinced that spring has sprung.
