What a beautiful collection you have!!!
Thank you
Beautiful close-ups. I have grown all of those at some point in the past, except for the last, Pinãta. Somehow I don't have any of those 4 anymore. It was actually a terrific specimen of Peace rose bush I would see in my neighborhood as a kid that helped pique my,early curiosity about roses that led to me trying my hand at it. I still remember it, 5th grade, ordered my first three bareroot roses from a newspaper advert. They were Mr. Lincoln, Queen Elizabeth, and Peace. Despite not knowing what I was doing and not preparing the soil AT ALL, somehow those poor bushes managed to bloom, and I was hooked! That was 41 years ago.
My mom loved roses so I kinda caught the bug.
I don't know what is going on this year but my bushes aren't looking good. They are all producing plenty of flowers but the bushes just don't look good.
Nice. I love the Peace rose and had one at my fist house. Really need another one.
Every time I decide 'this' is my favorite rose I stop and smell a new one.....
They ARE all beauties, but that Double Delight is really stunning!
And it smells so yummy!
