Does anyone have any thoughts on a clover yard? I'm more interested in having a greener yard and less cutting the grass!

Not an expert here, but I was researching the possibility, too. My worry is it seems the clover may poop out part of the year. I hope I am,wrong. Micro-clover, which you can buy seed for thru Amazoncom, is shorer-growing. Some other ground covers intrigue me as well, including Creeping Thyme and English lawn daisies. Asiatic Jasmine is alsp easy, but maybe best paired with stepping stones, growi thing a little above ankle height.
Maybe plant clover, watch how it does and take written notes on gaps in planting areas or seasons, then research options for filling any gaps.
I am working on a clover yard. Have 'wild' clover, added clover seed this spring - just have to work out the other grasses.
Some of the clover species do get tall but are green, just be careful of the bees.
@KITDFOHS I don't mind the bees but my Yorkies are having a little bit of a problem..... I know I shouldn't laugh but they just won't listen when I tell them not to play with the bees....
Actually, I thought (when I started on this clover adventure) that there would be more bees but there have not been that many. I did get this picture today
Yes indeed! There's plenty of low/slow growing plants that you can put in instead of the typical "grass" lawns. Do explore them and keep us posted!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
