One of the veggies I prefer raw in a salad if I can. I don't mind cooked though. This looks beautiful.

Nice! My favorite veggie! Beautiful color contrast to show off your harvest!

Nice harvest! Next time you might want to "stagger-plant" (one plant per week)

That's a little hard to do in our short season here in Alaska... I eat what I can fresh and blanch and freeze extra for later.

@FrostyJim Wow...didn't look to see where you're from....yep...freezing's a great alternative! May I suggest par-boiling just to soften them a bit....so they're ready to heat and eat? Perhaps you can mix some with cheese or ginger, or a hot sauce for variety. Good luck, and good cooking!

@Robecology - yes I blanch first then vacuum bag and store in my deep freezer...

That looks just yummy! I am making broccoli with cheese sauce today. Thank goodness, the temperature outside has moderated to bearable today!

I will be making a chopped broccoli-kale salad today too...

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
