In the Photography group we mentioned Naked Lady bulbs blooming and I promised to go take pics in my neighborhood of an abundant clustering along a fence ... wow! from the looks of the clusters they must've been there for a decade or more! a magnificent display ...

I do know Amaryllis, but I did not know about these specific ones. So pretty.
Thanks for sharing

How funny! I have known these lilies as Resurrection Lilies. Comical that their other name is Naked Lady. Did someone get their communications crossed when naming these flowers. Are they wanton women or piously Christian?

I love these! Some made their way into a pot of something my brother was sharing with me so I ended up owning a few - they pop up in three places now and I get such a kick out of them. But seeing all of yours, I'm temped to increase my plantings into a bed --- they're gorgeous! He called them Pink Ladies but I like Naked Ladies better.

@dede18 Omigosh, this is perfect timing - some of mine have just developed the seeds! Yes, I'd appreciate your advice on how to start them. We have about 3-4 more months of warm weather so I might have luck with some starters.

Thanks, @dede18! I've never been very good at working from seed, but I'm going to give these a shot. Thank you for the detailed instructions.

Beautiful. I've never seen those before. Very similar to one called Magic Lily that is abundant here.

@dede18 Must be different climates. The ones here only get about 18" tall and have far fewer blooms.

I read somewhere long ago that these were the only true amaryllis. Don't know if it is true or if anyone would care, lol.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
