Interesting video about the creator of the Carolina Reaper pepper. The hottest pepper I've ever grown is a habenero. It was pretty good when mixed with something citric (like mango salsa) otherwise it was too painful to be edible for me. Has anyone grown these damned Reaper things? What can you do with them except cry or poison your enemies?

"PuckerButt Pepper Company founder Ed Currie is on a mission to create the world's hottest peppers. Ed is the evil genius who brought the world the Carolina Reaper, one of the hottest hot peppers in existence; but he's not stopping there."

I think that I tried some from the supermarket last summer. Incredibly hot.

I was told recently that boiled chili let cool and then dabbed on a painful tooth will remove the toothache. My informant claimed it better than clove oil but equally obnoxious to the taste buds.

Could be used for torture, I guess. Would work on me. I don't even use regular hot peppers.

Well, I've never been fond of hot peppers - even the milder ones (I'm a baby, I know it). I do believe that the food I take a bite out of really shouldn't bite back. 😁

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
