My fish pond is some of the only water around right now. The male toads have staked out their own lily pads. I use the water to water my plants, then fill the pond every couple of days, it amounts to about a 10%water change each week.

I found a decomposing dead fish that washed up from the lake when I was mowing this afternoon. I decided to play Indian and buried it about a foot down in my sickly asoaragus bed. If the cat doesn't dig it up it's bound to help some.
