What is so bad is there were ample life jackets on board, but no one was wearing them.
@GuyKeith That's true. I can't bring myself to have sympathy for stupidity. If you put kids on a boat, of any kind, you put life jackets on them. While the boat operators are definitely at fault, the passengers bear a good bit of responsibility as well.
I'd never get on any duck boat. They've always looked unsafe AF to me. I sure as hell wouldn't let a child on one.
