If you're in a hurry to be re-organized in to another being...a soft-wrap burial would allow you to be worm food....then perhaps bird food...then....who knows....human food? within decades! You could re-join us just like that! I feel sorry for those who go the "embalming fluid/stash-em-in-a-stack folk....their bods won't be worm food for centuries...

I don't see how you deduced anything about cannabalism....
but I did read the book and saw the movie about that soccer team that crashed in the Andes and overwintered on a mountain-top. They were compelled to cannabalizing their fellow flight people who had died in the crash.
I don't "condone" it...but if it means you survive...I wouldn't refuse it.

What I did do was have some morbid thoughts on what happens to us after we die...
we become new organisms as our molecules are passed on through the food chain ...we obviously will have no memory of what we're doing now....and who knows...I'm sure I might have spent some time in the consciousness of an insect, or fish, or worm....
Again...morbid, biological thoughts....
