My problem was none of my teachers ever believed that I read the books I did until high school when I took a class called "Mystery and Science Fiction" which included writing stories.... The teacher believed me because we had the option of giving book reports in oral form and I gave reports on the entire Dune series in one sitting. Gad I still wish we had cameras then like the ones we have today it took her a week to grade then after she went over the books herself with her notes and my next reports were on the Hobbit and LOTR series...
