There were more than 43,000 gun deaths in 2020, which was the largest number in at least two decades, according to the Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit group that tracks gun violence data. The number of gun-related deaths, however, is expected to eclipse that record this year, with more than 24,000 gun fatalities already recorded in 2021.
Of the 24,000 individuals who have died from gun violence this year, more than 800 were under the age of 18, according the Gun Violence Archive. Data shows that 174 of them were under 12 years old.
The Gun Violence Archive is reporting that 18 mass shootings have taken place in 12 cities in the U.S. this week alone, which left 19 dead and 74 wounded.

It is a self perpetuating vicious circle, the more people are killed by guns, the more people want guns to "protect" themelves from people with guns by killing them, thus upping the figure of people killed by guns and increasing the demand for guns by people wanting to protect themselves from people with guns.

I believe Americans have become numb to gun violence. Decades ago, when l was very young, the Russians said they would not have to conquer the US , that we would fail from within. I believe we are fast tracking to our demise because we have a population made up of too many greedy , ignorant, and very stupid people. These next two elections and maybe just the next one in 2022 will show us where we are headed.

Perhaps you could put the perpetrators on the cards and give an award for collecting all the cards.
