BWV 1004 Bach Chaconne, Raphaella Smits, guitar.

Words absolutely fail me on this performance. Written upon the death of his wife.

Music can set one's emotion. At my late partners memorial I tried to play the adagio for strings along with the video

Funny thing, though, she had an easy death (brain tumor which mainly affected her speech) we opened our doors to the very connected community here and there was a revolving door of visitors. She sent out the word of no tears and no prayers and most complied. At the memorial I wanted people to finally be able to let go and cry hence the video. However, the video came up but we could not get the sound to work. Even the Center technician could not get it to work and someone said they saw a woman go into the sound room. it was a mystery. After conversing here on Agnostic I realized she would not have approved of the music at her memorial and it did not happen.
