When I still had Bear, he was my safety net and security. He was my best friend and strength.
I never knew what burdens were, I never knew what baggage was. I never knew what worries were. He kept me safe in every way. I miss that.

It's the little things about them you miss so much and that make life difficult sometimes, like going on holiday with the dogs and not being able to nip into a shop to look round because my husband was happy to wait outside with them

My husband took care of so many things. Now I’m left trying to learn about cars and house maintenance, and there’s no one to help out. I feel I’ve lost my safety net.

I was the security for my sweet wife, and that security allowed her to blossom. Her love was unconditional and deep as the sea. I miss her so much.
