One of my cats gifted me with a small snake in the house . I left it for hours , it was where I could see it . Eventually I wet a paper towel to collect a hair ball , then dropped the wet aper towel on the snake . It wasn't dead . I collected pliers from the tool box , picked up the snake , and dropped it in the trash can . I hoped it liked whatever food remained in the trash , until trash day .

My mother is very snake-phobic... So one of my favorite short videos is of my then 5yo son at the zoo... "petting" a 7+ foot long boa constrictor that weighed about 3x times my son's weight...
My now 10yo son jumps to Grandma's defense when the subject comes up... but he still loves snakes and wants one as a pet...
That's my boy!!!.

ha ha ha I really am afraid of clowns...I was tormented by a clown at a circus in Germany when I was about 4 or 5...since then, I get cold chills each time I see one...it is not funny at all...other than that, I have almost no fear...

I'm sorry! Many of those childhood traumas can never be erased.
@MojoDave lol I purposely expose myself to clowns...read IT and saw the movie many times...it is not rational, but they can be overcome!!! ha ha
@thinktwice Good for you, many aren't that brave!
A good hypnotherapist will have you over your phobia in no time.
