Black Garlic
I love that stuff, I have been using it for years.
I never infections.
The problem with garlic is that when you eat it your body may have an offensive smell. The solution is for a couple to both eat garlic. They will be happy and healthy together even if they have no friends.
Lol. (I live I Spain, so plenty of friends)
I haven't heard of this and am naturally skeptical of claims like this. I would be open to some peer-reviewed scientific studies that bear out this claim.
it does have a bit of the woo about it but also has been subjected to quite a bit of research as with most of these things its more likely the person taking it has either a good and healthy life style or has made changes to a bad life style and is seeing the positive out comes
I've never seen black garlic for sale anywhere.
I've burnt many a clove of garlic, but that's cheating.
@Petter After I burnt soemthign the first time after beign distracted by the internet, I bought an egg timer to remind me I need to check on what's cooking. It also comes in handy for when I set the sprinkler to water the veggie garden, so I remember to move the sprinkler and dont' forget it is out there.
I love garlic but have never heard of this type. I'll check it out as a food ingredient. I survived my bout of cancer by surgery
Just regular garlic that has been heat cured for a few weeks at 130F. Roasted garlic with a bit of garlic butter on the top is also delicious if not quite so healthy.
I have over 500 bulbs of various organic garlic in my garden this year, will have to see about turning some of it into Black Garlic by heat curing it.
