Good question! We are in the process of updating "Follow" feature. Currently, when you follow someone it was like putting them in a list you could go to. In the next day, you will start getting alerts on the site and by email if 1) you want them, and 2) when they post something (topics only). You can also follow someone's post by "Favoriting" it. Then, when someone else comments on it, you can see what they wrote. We may follow up with some other features to make it easier to find and follow categories and (hash)tags.

That's a good question! For now, you can search for keywords for a topic. We will work on tools to automatically compare a question posted with previous ones and link them.

We would suggest taking a look at the FAQ (frequently asked questions) page that you can find from a link on the main page after you log in or https://agnostic.com/faq.php If you "Follow" someone, that just means that you get a little alert when they post a new question or topic. The alerts show up in the top bar of each page.

Good question, there is a short explanation in the FAQ. It used to be just a sort by points but we recently changed it to take into consideration the number of likes different posts receive from others. You could say that the formula works "in mysterious ways". We wanted to have the "Super" member list highlight members who are both really active and helpful to others. No formula is perfect but we hope this one is better. Happy to get feedback!

It's not just you. It's us. We manually curate posts before they go live so that the front page has more interesting posts.. Comments/replies go live instantly for Level 5+. How about we make posts go live instantly on profile pages for level 2+ and then we review them later? We're also thinking of having these main page "admin promoted" posts throttled to go out one at a time instead of all at once when we curate them. Just ideas. Today we're working on post tagging.

For now, you can only search for men and look at the "Open for men" title on each listing. Haha, tithing... good idea :) The goal with levels is to let people know which members are more active so that as we add more dating functionality, we don't have to resort to charging memberships as a way to authenticate users (like most dating sites do). Also, we give some perks and prizes to members as they reach different levels (first one comes next week).
