I am following a keto diet, basically no sugars and carbs are mostly under 30 grams... a day.. and fat.. about 50 to 75 % of my daily calories. I have never felt better in my life..and I don't have hunger, or cravings ( mostly) My thinking ability..improved, my skin, my hair is in much healthier condition. I can fast easily for 24 hours. I have been in this same position. It gets better. Talking about this.. and accepting the way you are helps. I found that for myself, when I stopped worrying about what others thought, my self esteem grew. It's not as easy as it sounds because worrying about pleasing others was ingrained in me, and my own needs pushed back. I had to remind myself that my own view was valid and I need to pay attention. I"m not sure on your details..but for me this worked. Slowly i put the emphasis back on me knowing what is right and doing it, and slowly it became easier to be around people. Self acceptance is first :) Pat yourself on the back your doing great.

I agree, you can't "remake someone" to fulfill your needs. Love is give and take, and when you love someone you try to please them. That would be interesting to scan the brains and get that information. We don't have that capability as of now. I've always been interested in the brain, where we all create the world we live in. I'm sure in the future we will have more brain scans detailing what people are thinking and feeling. Loss of privacy could be a real concern.
