Love it and most satire. A while back I posted a question about who "gets" satire because on FB groups I follow there are plenty of people who DON'T. I find it interesting that some people really cannot grasp satire as a form of humor. Some will get annoyed because they think it is real reporting...

@RavenCT Not only intelligence, but might be related to gender. Most of my immediate family, and their children, fall into the official "genius" category. My sister's daughter was even recruited out of high school by the NSA. Yet, many of the females, including my mom and niece, don't get jokes, take everything seriously. My mom couldn't even watch normal TV shows because she'd get so upset by them and the "tragic" happenings. I'm "female," but very male in traits, but so are the women in my family who don't get jokes. No sure what the crucial element is, but they are all very high IQ.

When I cut out red meat, white flour, and most processed food from my diet when I was in my 20s I never had the flu or infections again. I didn't even get sick, and my stamina suddenly doubled. I lived in Morehead for 26 years, and knew both Kim and her mother, since in Kentucky, government jobs are often dynasties. I had no complaint with their work abilities, and wasn't surprised that Kim is homophobic, due to that being a KY mountain redneck area, despite the presence of a liberal university in town. Some of my male friends used to talk about how they would "kill" any "queer" who tried to touch them. In those parts, people often don't call the police if they have problems..they take care of it themselves with their shotguns.

@pnullifidian Theoretically, anything and everything can and does exist in some dimension, and as for Simon Parkes, both his parents worked for the MI6 and the US, and Simon has the highest government clearance, and his mom's job was to delete UFO reports from the internet. He never said his earth mom was a reptilian, but that his "soul" came from an alien. As for people saying they've mated with aliens, some of my own friends say that happened to them, and they are perfectly sane, I've seen UFOs so many times, while accompanied by my friends and family, I know they exist. Only in American do people obediently take the government's position that everything "alien" is "swamp gas."

@nicknotes LOL! You only think matter exists? I believe Einstein; all matter is a form of energy, so since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, we have always existed and will always exist in some energy form. No reason to think energy beings don't exist, and quantum physics already tells us different dimensions exist. "For us believing physicists, the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." -Einstein. Besides, physics indicates that we are participating in creating our own universes/reality, so there's nothing "woo" about it. People can manipulate energy in ways that others may perceive as impossible. “I regard consciousness as fundamental and matter as derivative from consciousness." – Max Planck, theoretical physicist who originated quantum theory, 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics

To fine tune my jitterbug dancing moves, I watched YouTube videos, but even before I knew very much, if I had a good dance partner leading me, I didn't have to know much..just follow his lead.

The US is big on labels, and the meanings keep evolving, plus many of label meanings overlap or are redundant. Here in Thailand people just are who they are, and even European people who are obviously trans, don't consider themselves to be unusual in any way. Last I checked, "cis" means someone who identifies with the gender assigned at birth; i.e., a girl who identifies as a girl. You know what hetero means, transgender now means any people who are who uncomfortable in any aspect of their assigned birth gender..which makes it a high percentage. Nonbinary means someone who doesn't identify with either gender-or as both, asexual means not being sexually attracted to specific genders, or people, but there are versions of asexuality, such as demisexual, where someone can only attracted sexually to someone after a year or more of close association, and then only to that one person. People can be panromantic (able to fall in love with anything), pansexual (can be sexually attracted to anyone), agender (don't identify with any gender), androgyne (identify as both genders) gender fluid (people switch back and forth between their male and female modes-male traits tend to on the right side of the brain, female traits on the the left side). There are many more. I qualify for a number of those labels..demisexual, panromantic, partial transmale, nonbinary, agender (don't identify with any particular gender) and when I'm not taking derris scandens herb, I'm gender fluid-move back and forth between male and female perspectives. With the derris scandens, I live as an androgyne female, with no more dysphoria (discomfort from gender dissonance).

My Thai married female boss here in Songkhla also messaged me a few months ago asking me to be her lover. I politely declined. Very politely, since she pays my salary. But I was asked to dance by as many women as men in the US, and in Thailand American, European, and Korean women have hit on me, on although the Americans and Irish are the most aggressive. Once, in desperation, since I didn't "get it" a beautiful young Irish foreign teacher actually spelled out what she asking me. birdingnut replies on Mar 2, 2018:
Most men who choose to be single have varying higher levels of female hormones, since independence is a female trait, so are able to live alone contentedly. This is a problem for high IQ creative type men, who are typically too busy pursuing interests and careers to bother much about procreation, and often have serial relationships. In Asia, where most people seem androgynous, even men who marry often live with their mothers, often in another village from their wife, and both spouses are likely to have side lovers, of either gender. I often meet single white males in Thailand, but those are usually fussy, neat British or European men, with high levels of female hormones. Normal cis hetero American men, in contrast, seem almost desperate to have a female lover, even from childhood. In fact, it seems to be their main preoccupation.

birdingnut replies on Mar 2, 2018:
@Wafflestomp That's for normal, cis hetero males, high in male traits, who are statistically on the lower end of the IQ scale. As the gender sliding scales moves toward the middle (androgyny), the average IQ and creativity rises correspondingly, statistically speaking. Unfortunately, the higher the IQ and creativity, the more likely the person is to pursue obsessive interests, build inventions, write music, make movies, etc instead of having families..many of them can only have serial relationships, and reproduce only by accident. So if you're atheist, you're already in the high IQ bracket as most cis hetero men are content with the status quo in religion as well, thus have a higher percentage of female traits than other men.

But one of the first books to mention it, in the popular media was the book "The Rules." That's when I started paying attention and realized it was true. After menopause I became more male-minded as my female hormones waned and became strongly gender fluid. In male mode, I didn't even believe I had a female side at all, and behaved like a predator around women, yet, strangely, without sexual attraction, since I'm demisexual. I soon saw that whenever women aggressively tried to seduce me, I recoiled, and tried to get away, quickly losing interest.

@LittleAnimal255 The book that explained how to do past life memory healings was The Laughing Cherub Guide to Past-life Regression: A Handbook for Real People, by Mary Elizabeth Raines. I only followed her complicated instructions once, then discovered it worked just as well by casually deciding to "see" the past life that originated whatever problem I wanted to target. I also skipped her instructions to ask the past-life protagonists why they did what they did, and used the NLP technique of doing a quick re-imagining of the incidents the way they should have happened.

For most cis women, this role is taken by female friends and relatives, and the man is only required to work, help with chores, and hand over the paycheck. Sadly, this "pals with men" mentally in women often comes with a besotted, male-like faithfulness that often puts these women in harm's way as they ignore red flags and male disrespect, out of "love."

@Billiwip "Researchers in Austria recently discovered that funny people, particularly those who enjoy dark humor, have higher IQs than their less funny peers. They argue that it takes both cognitive and emotional ability to process and produce humor. Their analysis shows that funny people have higher verbal and nonverbal intelligence, and they score lower in mood disturbance and aggressiveness. Not only are funny people smart, they’re nice to be around. Evidence suggests that having a good sense of humor is linked to high emotional intelligence and is a highly desirable quality in a partner. Evolutionary psychologists describe humor as a “heritable trait” that signals mental fitness and intellectual agility to prospective mates. In studies of attractiveness, both men and women rate funny people as more attractive, and cite having a good sense of humor as being one of the most important traits in a long-term partner." @RavenCT Really? So you'd date an attractive, but unemployed, man who has never held a job and doesn't want to, only eats junk food, never exercises, and never takes you anywhere because he's lazy and broke? If not, then you are being a typical choosy female. Most cis men will date any young woman who's "hot." They don't care what she does for a living or how smart she is. Besides, being "cis" doesn't preclude having male traits-it only means that you identify with being female. Trans people (born female) identify as male, so aren't "cis." Check your finger lengths instead; longer ring fingers than index fingers indicates high levels of prenatal male hormone. If your ring and index fingers are the same length you are close to androgyne, and if the index fingers are longer, then you had a higher percentage of prenatal female hormones than male.

@Freedompath That's how they are trained, from babyhood. They imagine that god is judging them. Often, though, religious people who attend universities see another viewpoint and ditch religion, going on to great achievements.

I can find dates outside my computer... here I am a Virgin and it does pleases me. I am here for other things but I won't turn down a lady... it is not in my nature. But I am losing friends faster I can make new ones. If that answer your question... but I truthfully hope a "group" from this site ...

@GipsyOfNewSpain ?? I'm a partial transmale and the women were real women, allegedly straight. What's your point?

@Melbates I took it to save my life. I don't care what other people think or do, since it works, also stops depression while at it.

@Troy Which happen to be true, LOL! Chasing a normal, cis man is quickest way to make him take to his heels, since it signals his subconscious that the female has strong male traits, and will likely not be as interested in giving up her career, figure, and time, to reproducing him. I'm only a partial transmale, but I used to be strongly gender fluid, swinging back and forth between female and male perspectives. Back then, if a woman came on strong to me, even if I was attracted to her before, I suddenly wanted to get away. One woman came to my door, asking to borrow something, wearing a negligee and making eyes at me, and I never hung with her again. But when a woman acted coy, smiled, allowing me to do the courting, I was even more attracted to her.
Been having a hard night.

@Melbates I read a study that showed that in states where cannabis was decriminalized, people were ditching dangerous drugs to take cannabis, making health gains, but when it was legalized as medicine only, there's so much red tape, everything is so tightly controlled, and prices rise so steeply - sometimes 5 Xs the black market cost, that people either return to dangerous Big Pharm drugs, with corresponding overdose deaths, or they return to black market cannabis, or grow their own.

@Melbates CBD oil is said to raise one's mood, and also to cure seizures, but it has very low THC, so is usually legal. And cannabis oil can be had most places if one asks friends, who have other friends, etc., which is used to treat/cure cancer, and also calms the mood, although one has to be careful to take tiny amounts at a time.
Other Atheist healthcare worker's?
Loveofhitch comments on Feb 25, 2018:
It's a relief to see this! I am always having to walk on eggshells because most healthcare employees speak of god and religion alot, and I do my best to stay neutral but after you and your team save a life and everyone's like thank god and guardian angels this and that...im like wtf! Where was god ...
birdingnut replies on Feb 26, 2018:
It's more of a reflex for religious people, to cover their Deity bases. If you gave all credit to "god" for a great meal a religious woman cooked for you, I'm betting she wouldn't be amused.
Is it ok to message women directly or is there some other protocol?

LOL! And be sure to make a sexual comment about her body to make her feel romantic. Compare her to your last girlfriend, also, to make her jealous.

I personally find it creepy.

If they are careful, and have previously engaged with the person in a conversation, and ask them an innocuous question, it might not spook them. Finding out their interests by reading their profile and their posts/comments listed there could give a hint on what they like to talk about.
