What’s your opinion on open carry?
indirect76 comments on Apr 13, 2019:
I have some guns, but they stay at home unless I’m going out to shoot. I think open carry is obnoxious. I think concealed carry is the way to go if someone really feels the need to be armed out in public. Kentucky just passed a bill allowing anyone to conceal carry and I think that is bonkers. A $50 fee & six hour class is not asking a lot for a conceal carry license.
I got into a discussion with my aunt about pro life vs pro choice.
indirect76 comments on Apr 14, 2019:
There is a difference in opinion on when life begins and when it is considered murder to kill something. Even if two people agree on that point there is still the different opinion on the murder/non-murder weighed against a persons right to their bodies. No amount of debate will change most people’s mind either way. I also don’t think the way a person votes means forcing their beliefs on someone. If you do think so then that principle applies to all voters.

I think sexualization per se is not bad. Context is everything for this type of thing. Sexuality is a part of being human and it has it’s time & place. I think for men it’s difficult to imagine being the other sex. When I see men sexualized I think nothing of it because of too many reasons to list. Perhaps when things are evened out, then that will be a time when most women can also view a sexualized representation of a women and think nothing of it. I do appreciate your intellectual consistency on this though.
