This is my own i created it over 30 years ago. Say what you mean and mien what you say.

Mine's: 'why are strangers strangers? as it seems to me, that strangers are simpler than the people you know, and the more you know someone the stranger they get 🙂

@girlwithsmiles I am always strange keeps people on their toes.

@azzow2 lols, sounds fun, as long as there's some method to your madness.

@girlwithsmiles As long as I detect some intelligence that can understand the ridiculous my points are valid.

“When I’m good, I’m very good, but when I’m bad, I’m better”... another great Mae West quote, one more talented, under appreciated woman.

Life sucks, and then you die!

I used to like that one, but am trying to be more positive! So I no longer like that one, because it’s a little too close to the truth!

It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he's got, and all he's ever gonna have....
Clint Easwood, Unforgiven.....

That's a great scene from a great movie

Hey I said that

I am no fan of Western movies. But I LOVE two, this one and Tombstone. Awesome quote.

I love this rant: “Heterosexual relationships seem to lead only to marriage, and for most poor dumb brainwashed women marriage is the climactic experience. For men, marriage is a matter of efficient logistics: the male gets his food, bed, laundry, TV, pussy, offspring and creature comforts all under one roof, where he doesn't have to dissipate his psychic energy thinking about them too much - then he is free to go out and fight the battles of life, which is what existence is all about.

But for a woman, marriage is surrender. Marriage is when a girl gives up the fight, walks off the battlefield and from then on leaves the truly interesting and significant action to her husband, who has bargained to 'take care' of her. What a sad bum deal.

Women live longer than men because they really haven't been living. Better blue-in-the-face dead of a heart attack at fifty than a healthy seventy-year old widow who hasn't had a piece of life's action since girlhood.”
― Tom Robbins, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues

But there are so many more in it, it's a great book! [goodreads.com] really should get another copy 🙂

@Silvertongue touche! Looks like I'm doing my bit for mankind by staying single then 😉

@Silvertongue now that was FUNNY!!????

@Silvertongue who knows, probably somewhere between the old gay dude's rant and your gorilla there's an answer that's reasonable 🙂

"Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country," President John F. Kennedy said in his Inaugural Address. His words hit me in the center of my 10-year-old chest.

I got a Master's of Public Administration degree because I get the greatest reward from doing work that helps other people.

Since 2006 as a volunteer college mentor, I have helped minority and low income students write essays for college and scholarship applications.

One of my best success stories is Brenda, who won $269,455 in scholarships in 2016. Brenda plans to become a medical doctor and pathologist. She wants to cure diseases.

"I am a beacon of hope for my neighborhood," Teresa, 18, said in 2015. "My younger siblings and neighbor kids look up to me. I am inspiring them to get good grades, stay in school, not drop out, not get pregnant, and go to college."

A week ago, Wenatchee High School gave me a "Scholarship Rockstar" award.
