I do. Latin, Ballroom, Folk, etc. ...Folks, "left feet" is not a permanent condition. It's just a matter of exposure and practice. Key is to continuously listen to the rhythm of what you want to learn to dance. Once you internalize the rhythm, the body and the feet will follow...

Have always been involved in dance of some form since I was that awkward 6 year old in ballet.

I was in ballet as well. ?

@Wildgreens I hated ballet. My mom made me do it. I went into other styles after that.

I did tap, jazz, and ballet I thought it was all fun.?

@Wildgreens Ballet was too rigid for me. I don’t like being caged by forms and rules. I followed a friend from school into Balinese and Javenese dance lessons which I enjoyed. She went on to compete in Balinese competitions and won several. She became a movie star over there. I moved to Canada and got into a bit of jazz. Then ballroom and salsa. I love salsa and other Latin dances. Loved Latin ballroom. Then I got into flamenco and did that for 7 years. After that I got into bellydancing and have been doing it for 10 years now. But I have also dabble in other styles: African dances, Bollywood, burlesque, Scottish highland, etc. In terms of bellydance, I’ve done just about all styles as well.

Yes. Taken many lessons. Used to host a local Viennese Waltz evening. When my daughter got married, we did the waltz together from the Sound of Music.

Im a pretty good Salsa dancer and my waltz isnt too bad either 🙂

@Wildgreens Yep, I have a good recipe for it.......... it uses up all my leftover tomatoes!

Yes, I love to dance, but I wish I could learn to partner dance. I've tried and I can't quite get it. I do know some hula dances though. Tonight, I danced an informal hula for some neighbors of mine who were celebrating their anniversary at the bar up the street.

my parents were wonderful dancers so i learned young that it was a fun thing to do. i have enjoyed it ever since. whether its swing, polka, waltz or tango i ready to go. i never did get into line dancing, but truly enjoy dancing with a partner, especially a partner who enjoys dancing.

Yes, yes, yes and especially with a strong lead. I don't line dance though. I love music and it makes me want to move. I truly enjoy dancing but want someone else to be in control. This surprises all my friends who consider me unusually independent.

Was hanging out with the woman some years back. She said do you want to dance from the way she said it she was being sarcastic. So just to prove a point I went up and danced. I am no John Travolta by any means when it comes to moves.
