Oh no! Terrible news! I was privileged to visit the school before the first fire. It was a beautiful place where a good friend taught art.

That just made me ill. I saw the outside when I visited Glasgow, and swore to visit the inside next time.

Just watched a news report on it; it sounds rather like this time around the building can't be saved. [ichef.bbci.co.uk]

SAD!

Dispairing

@Freedompath This is one of those times when I really wish I was a billionaire - so I could just email someone and say "Money's no object - that building needs to be recreated!"

@Jnei something or somebody...seems to be a major obstacle? This needs to be gotten to the bottom of, before another dime is spent..,is my thought!

How sad..,what a loss!

@Donotbelieve That, and for me I'm not fully awake yet, words are coming really slowly.

I smell corruption. I've posted about this too.

Its deeply depressing..of all the buildings to burn down..twice..????

Daaamn that sucks..

They probably outsourced the job to a private contractor who cut all corners to maximise their profits.

..,or some ‘sicko’ is lurking in the shadows! That seems deliberate...?

@Freedompath

I was reading about the contractor - Kier Construction. They have a history of corruption. I would not be surprised if the fire was deliberate.

Cue - earmark £40M of public money to repair the fire damage.

I'm sorry to hear that.
