I am not aware of anyone or any body that is not connected to the universe. The very notion of not being connected to the universe would imply a point or place outside of the universe?

So true and well said, The only thing independent of the eternal universe is time itself. Without time we do not exist, If you live in time you are indeed a product of the energy itself

The Force is strong with this one.

I have an affirmation that I use. I am a child of the Universe, no more or less than the trees or the stars. I do have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to me at the time, there can be no doubt that the Universe is unfolding exactly as it should. Therefore I am at peace with myself, other people, the Universe.

I never felt disconnected, but as a little girl, I used to talk to it when I felt lonely or sad.

there is no disconnection except in your mind/belief system, you are the universe

In a positive way it is when I am jogging, with music, and I get sort of a mindful (to use that awful over-used term). In a negative way it is when I raise a finger or two, point above, make a gesture, and use language your grandmother wouldn't approve of. You know, some days. But as an atheist I am never delusional enough to think that the "universe" gives a rat's posterior about me one way or another.

I look at the moon and the stars. I read articles about other galaxies and planets. That is how I feel connected.

I spend a lot of time alone in the bush, especially at night, though surfing creates a good connection for me. I like to feel the power of nature.

When I'm feeling super out of it, I go to Quaker meetings. It's nice to vibe with a room full of people with no expectations, but I can't take guided meditations or yoga seriously. Silence is nice.

Or I pole dance/do aerial. Anything to put myself more in my body while channeling some kind of flow.

Meditation and volunteerism. Meditation being a way to center and ground, and volunteerism to reiterate we all want the same things as humans, the rest is conditioning and opportunity.

And this is one of my favorite meditations:

Life is a beautiful journey. My connection is my loved ones. The ones that are important to me in my life.

Connect to the universe? I try making sure my neutrinos are the kind that have mass. Doesn't always work.

Meditation,running/walking in the countyside/beach,listening to music.

These all calm me and make me aware of where I am, who I am and where it all fits in.

Bicycling and reading scientific research.

Flying my gyrocopter when I had it. Today it's just videos and memories. Oh cooking is my wow today. The smell of pine needles burning. The smell of hickory smoking pork or brisket. Fireplaces smoking during the sunsets. Burning wood and campfires cooking hotdogs. I guess its all about food for me...lol

I like to fight a nice wooded are where it's cool and breezy and meditate and listen as the wind blows through the trees
