Totally agree here. I am not American so I can't really comment on the specific situation, but if it is a world trend then it is concerning. I know in UK and Australia there are concerns about the growing potential of Sharia Law in certain communities. My question is, what is the difference. Ordained by Allah or ordained by Yaweh. Other religio-philosophic texts can argue the contrary but not given a hearing. A secular society should have none of this or be prepared to examine all positions. I am sure the French wouldn't stand for it!

The problem with things like this in the Trump era is that no one calls bullshit and it's like everyone takes it seriously. Maybe everyone is apathetic. In my mind the bible thumping should not be allowed into the office one holds, and if it is, you should vacate that office. This is very plain and simple.

Completely agree. This could have been posted in the FFRF group. =] ALL of us should be supporting that organization, and not just "in spirit." Every person on this site should be a paying supporter. They advertise being 35K strong and that is a pitiful joke, IMHO. We could double their size (I know some folks are already there). Anyway, shuttin' up now. LOL!

I usually don't collect movies but I own Religulous because it's magnificent. We have young people on our side and I trust our growing contingent will show up at the polls this November.
