The solution to the problem we have now has to be developed and discussed, written down and debated. The answer is not going to be by what exists now, the answer will have to be worked out by using what we have that works. The GOP is fractured and they are holding on to trump as he is their leader. The demo's are the party that is going to have to be put into power and then the GOP will die and a party will develop from its ashes. Perhaps two parties will develop, I don't know what will become, but the GOP is dead. That does not mean that trump cannot win another election as the Democrats seem to be able to duck everything up. But let us support the dem's as they are the future at this point. The real question for the future is 'will it take another world war to figure out nationalism does not work'. This was the lesson of the last century but it seems no one was paying attention. Nothing personal here, I like and respect your comments, like the way your mind works.

How many people listen to George Will?

Some of the smarter republicans realize just has been happening to their party, and they dont' like it.

Another Republican I have always respected. George Will, the father of a special needs child became disenchanted with Herr Trump early when he berated that reporter with ceebral palsy. He knows this administration is white trash.

George Will is not the only one taking this stand but I can certainly agree with it. What's going on? Many people (regardless of bipartisan politics) are tired of all the nonsense going on and they would actually like to see some governing instead. One way of causing that to happen is to have a balance of power with both parties.

This is good news. I never thought I would see George Will urge Republicans to vote Democrat.
