Sure, I support it.

I thought when they found them it was over. I hadnt read all the details of their situation/ Hope they make it out and soon

@JaciBea yes, that is what I am learning. How the hell did they get that deep into the cave. I guess when you are lost underground you are really lost

@btroje From what I've read, they were trying to outrun the rising waters.

@kiramea yeah storm coming in

Will be a good movie in 10 years. Hoping for a successful rescue.

I hope they make it out, but that was a stupid and dangerous decision by the coach taking them in there.

I thought that too, but this is the beginning of Munson Season and if he was not familiar with that cave... it was a grave error! You would have thought that he would have done some research on it before hand! Caves have never interested me and they never will, now!

Why would they go so deep into that cave? That coach has some explaining to do.

Exactly what I've been thinking.

Maybe they only went that deep to escape the incoming water. But I could be wrong.

I hope all the kids, the coach, and the rest of the rescue crew make it out safe.

One diver has died.

@Ellatynemouth Yes, I heard/read. Very sad. 😟

At least the situation is stabilized for the time being. Rescuers are able to reach those who are stranded and that is a positive.

Rainy season on its way. Three miles, five hours cave dive to get out. Using standard tanks would require several tank changes for each kid. Cave diving is extremely hazardous as evidenced by the fact that one of the expert Thia divers has already died on regress from spotting air tanks. Rescuers can get to them, but cannot at this point get any of them out. In short, the situation is NOT stabilized. I would give those kids no more than a 50/50 chance of getting out alive. Note: I am a former SCUBA diver and would never cave dive.

@dahermit

Yes. What ever they're going to attempt, they're going to have to try before September. Once the rainy season arrives, the situation will become far worse than it already is.

Yeah..it doesn't look good, especially when the ex-Thai Navy SEAL diver drowned trying to set out an oxygen line, and they discovered that oxygen levels are dropping in the air bubble where the boys are located.
