I plan to be alive.

I was going to say the exact same thing! More like hope than plan though... ha

Nope. Life has a tendency to stomp all over any plans I make.

So true.

Sigh. Yeah.

Hahahaha! I barely have a "make it through the week" plan!

Minta79 Level 7 July 11, 2018

No plans I go from day to day ?

Sheannutt Level 9 July 10, 2018

My 5 year plan is to hang on until I can get on Medicare if it is still out there, and then coast until I can retire.

What the hell for?
It has been my experience that life laughs at 5-year plans.
Then, it fucks them.

KKGator Level 9 July 10, 2018

@Quazi Congratulations. Good luck with all that.
Perhaps, as you get older, you will not have to change your plans and ideals to accommodate reality.

Well, sort of... The plan is to be retired from the current job and then to know where I'll be moving, somewhere away from rural GA

I find life changes too fast for long term plans other than in a broad sense. I focus on building general capabilities: fitness, learn new things, acquire new skills.

A plan with built in flexibility , Excellent !

@Cast1es Think anti-fragile a la Nassim Taleb.

I don't have a five day plan.

bleurowz Level 8 July 11, 2018

I have been retired for over 23 year and live one day at a time. I do plan for some travel and camping experiences but rarely more than 1 month in advance.

jlynn37 Level 8 July 11, 2018

I'm currently living my last 5 year plan. My new 5 year plan is to own a boat. Best part is that I'll be 41yo in 5 years, so everyone will think it's a midlife crisis.

Plan to retire in less than 6 months.

More like a 21 foot rule...

I wonder how many people will actually understand that reference.

Learn from the past plan for the future but live for today

Drsmash253 Level 7 July 11, 2018

Yeah, not to make any 5 year plans!

IAJO163 Level 7 July 11, 2018

2 fact, I have a chart where I keep short-term through long-term goals and I update it monthly as things progress to account for variables an unseen changes. Everyone needs a roadmap to follow or they are just wandering aimlessly.

Why you asking?

@Quazi I have to handle to you you just invented the word "procrsatinate". Make sure is added to wikipedia.

@Quazi your post response was Edited. Bottom left corner... so YOU DO KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Ha, ha, he, ha.

Not really a five year plan, but I would like to stay employed until I decide it’s time to retire.

Hermit Level 7 July 11, 2018

Kind of. Circumstances change, plans change. Some people say, "Live like you'll die tomorrow." That's a crock of shit. But something closer to, "Live like you'll die in 10 years" suits me for the time being.

recluse Level 4 July 11, 2018

I have a plan, but it's still open to change as well, life is what happens while busy making plans.

Chilton704 Level 5 July 11, 2018

Mmmhhh..... I'll tell you in 5 years what the plan was....
